Un dernier week-end en amoureux / Last weekend between lovers

Ce week-end a été le dernier que j’ai pu passer avec mon copain et mon amie.

Vendredi nous sommes allés à Mellieha Bay prendre un peu le soleil. Ensuite, nous avons pris le bus pour aller tout au nord de l’île à Cirkewwa. De là, nous avons pu voir Gozo et Comino. On se rend vraiment compte que l’archipel est petit avec cette vue !

Samedi nous avons fait du shopping puis nous avons pris le goûter au restaurant Fontanella. Oui je veux tout le temps y aller mais les gâteaux sont vraiment très très bons ! Comment résister ? Le soir, nous sommes allés au restaurant Spinola Terrasse à St Julian’s qui se trouve à peine à 5 minutes de l’hôtel. Le service était irréprochable et la nourriture simplement exquise. Je remercie encore mon chéri pour cette dernière soirée qui était vraiment magnifique.

La journée de dimanche a été assez particulière. En effet, j’ai eu la chance de visiter et de déjeuner sur le Mein Schiff 3 dont je m’occupe au travail. Avec mes collègues, nous avons été accueillies comme des « VIP » avec une coupe de champagne de bienvenue, une visite guidée du bateau avec une des responsables et un déjeuner gastronomique servi dans un des plus grands restaurants à bord. C’était une très bonne expérience et cela me permet de comparer avec le Costa Fascinosa que j’ai eu le plaisir de visiter il y a quelques semaines de ça. Le Mein Schiff 3 est un bateau beaucoup plus classe, décoré plus simplement et avec plus de goût. L’accueil que l’on nous a offert était aussi plus soutenu, le personnel était vraiment aux petits soins avec nous. Personnellement, je préfère nettement le Mein Schiff 3 que le Costa Fascinosa sur tous les plans ! Nous sommes restés de 11h jusqu’à 15h sur le bateau et j’avais des étoiles dans les yeux tout le long ! Après la visite du bateau, j’ai retrouvé mon copain pour faire des petites emplettes pour ma famille. Ensuite, nous sommes rentrés à l’hôtel pour préparer nos bagages.

Ce matin, je n’ai pas eu la chance de pouvoir accompagner Florent et Valériane à l’aéroport (ce qui est mieux, je déteste les adieux à l’aéroport) mais j’ai pensé à eux toute la journée <3.

Me revoilà seule pendant 2 mois et demi mais je sens que ça va passer vite (enfin je l’espère !). Pour découvrir mon week-end en photo, je vous invite à aller dans ma galerie photos !

This weekend has been the last I could spend with my boyfriend and my friend.

On Friday we went to Mellieha Bay to enjoy the sun a little. Then, we took the bus to go north of the island at Cirkewwa. From there, we could see Gozo and Comino. We truly realize how small the archipelago is with that view!

On satudray we went shopping then we took an afternoon snack at Fontanella’s restaurant. Yes I know, I always want to go there but the cakes are so good! How to resist? In the evening, we went to Spinola Terrace’s restaurant at St Julian’s which is only 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. Service was beyond reproach and the food just exquisite. I really thank my beloved for this last evening which was really wonderful.

Sunday was a little peculiar. Indeed, I had the chance to visit and have lunch on the Mein Schiff 3 which I take care of at my job. With my colleagues, we’ve been welcomed like ‘VIPs’ with a cup of champagne, a guided tour of the boat with one of the persons in charge and a gourmet lunch served in one of the biggest restaurant onboard. It was a really nice experience and it allowed me to compare with the Costa Fascinosa that I had the pleasure to visit a few weeks ago. The Mein Schiff 3 is a much classier ship, decorated more simply and tastefully. The welcome we received was also more formal, the staff attended to our every needs. Personally, I clearly prefer the Mein Schiff 3 over the Costa Fascinosa on every level! We stayed from 11:00am to 3:00pm on the boat and I had stars in the eyes all along! After my visit of the ship, I met my boyfriend to do buy some souvenirs for my family. Then we went back to the hotel to do the packing.

This morning I didn’t had the chance to come with Florent and Valériane to the airport (which is better, I hate farewells at the airport) but I thought about them all day <3

So here I am alone again for 2 months and a half but I have the feeling it will pass really fast (well I hope so!). To see my weekend in pictures, please go check my photo gallery!
