Le week-end des retrouvailles <3 / Weekend of reunion <3

Même si mon copain Florent et mon amie Valériane sont arrivés mercredi, les retrouvailles n’ont vraiment pu commencer que vendredi. Le travail remplit vraiment mes journées et je n’ai pas tellement le temps de leur parler malheureusement. J’ai donc accueilli ce week-end à bras ouverts !

Vendredi soir, nous sommes allés diner chez Mariella. Elle nous a fait une de ses spécialités : des ribs. C’est vraiment ce que je préfère ! Ensuite nous sommes allés passer la soirée ensemble à La Valette. Voir Malte la nuit est super et nous avons découvert grâce à Mariella un petit bar très sympa qui sert des cocktails de fruit bio, le Gugar Hangout Bar. A déguster sans modération !

Notre samedi a été plus tranquille. J’avais franchement besoin de me reposer. Nous sommes donc allés à la piscine de l’hôtel dans l’après-midi après une petite visite au Cat Village et le soir nous sommes allés manger au restaurant, le Gululu. C’est un restaurant qui sert essentiellement de la cuisine maltaise. C’était fameux et pas trop cher, le top !

Dimanche, Florent et moi avons passé la journée en amoureux. Je lui ai fait découvrir la belle ville fortifiée de Mdina où nous avons mangé des gâteaux du Fontanella dont j’ai déjà parlé le week-end dernier ! La gourmandise a pris le dessus… Ensuite, nous avons voulu faire le tour des remparts de Mdina et avons découvert un petit coin sympa avec une vue magnifique ! Après cette découverte, nous avons pris le bus pour nous rendre à Pretty Bay. Au début, le but était d’aller visiter des temples mais quand nous avons vu les prix des entrées, nous avons préféré aller à la plage nous promener ! On a fait pas mal de bus mais le temps était magnifique donc ça a été !

Voilà vous savez tout ce que j’ai fait ce week-end. Déjà 6 jours que mes chéris sont là… Déjà la moitié de leur visite… Mais bon au moins grâce à ce week-end, je commence cette nouvelle semaine du bon pied !

Even if my boyfriend Florent and my friend Valériane arrived Wednesday, the reunion could only begin on Friday. Work is filling my days and I have not so much time to talk to them unfortunately. So I welcomed this weekend with open arms!

Friday night we had dinner at Mariella’s house. She made us one of her specialty: ribs. It’s really what I like the most! Then we spent the evening together at Valetta. Seeing Malta by night was great and we discovered thanks to Mariella a very nice little bar that serves cocktails of organic fruits, the Gugar Hangout Bar. To be taken without moderation!

Our Saturday has been quieter. I really needed some rest. We then went to the hotel’s pool in the afternoon after a little visit at Cat Village and in the evening we had dinner at a restaurant, the Gululu. It’s a restaurant that offers mostly Maltese cooking. It was delicious and not too expensive, the best!

On Sunday, Florent and I spent a romantic day together. I showed him the beautiful fortified city of Mdina where we ate cakes from the Fontanella which I already talked about last weekend! Gluttony took us over… Then, we wanted to go around the ramparts of Mdina and we found a nice little spot with a beautiful view! After this discovery, we took the bus to Pretty Bay. At first, our goal was to visit temples but when we saw the tickets’ prices, we preferred to have a walk on the beach! We spent some time in the bus but the weather was great so it went well!

That’s it, you know everything I did on this weekend. 6 days already that my beloved are here… Half of their stay has passed already… Well at least thanks to this weekend, I can start this new week on the right side!
